Meeting Minutes, August 23, 2010

Meeting was called to order at 7:03pm

Board members in attendance were:

Mark Park
Michelle Blouin
Bernadette Paris
Fred Lasky

Item 1 - Concrete Restoration:

Discussion surrounding the final paint color(s) selection for the building. Mark and Michelle authorize an independent designer to evaluate the building and select a paint schema. The designer recommended two shades of taupe and a shade of beige. The light taupe is to be used on the vertical surfaces. The darker taupe will be used on the horizontal surfaces of the balcony and the surface of the catwalk ceilings. The beige will be used to highlight the elevator shafts, the building walls facing the car wash area, and the vertical banding that surrounds the windows.

The colors were presented to the attending owners and all accepted.

Motion by Mark Park to accept the designer’s paint selection, motion seconded by Michelle Blouin. Motion passes.

Item 2 - New Business:

Discussion to evaluate employing Beacon Property Management. Bernadette Paris and Joe Esteve have visited a few condominiums that utilize their services and they have received glowing reviews. Mark Park suggested that they proceed with securing the necessary contracts for attorney review and evaluation. Bernadette has agreed to assume this task.

Item 3 - New Business:

Pool concerns were brought up again and the need to have a professional service. Fred Lasky was nominated and he accepted the task of interviewing 3 pool companies to find if there are current issues, their plan to resolve, and contract costs.

Motion made by Mark Park, seconded by Bernadette Paris, to adjourn at 8:13pm. Motion passes.
